Reaction Steps
To a solution of 0.11 g of sodium (3R,4S)-4-acetylthio-3-[2-(2-chloroacetamidothiazol-4-yl)-2-methoxyiminoacetamido]-2-oxoazetidine-1-sulfonate in 5 ml of water is added under ice-cooling 0.036 g of sodium monomethyldithiocarbamate, and the mixture is stirred at room temperature for 2 hours. The same procedure as Example 3B yields 0.32 g of sodium (3R,4S)-4-acetylthio-3-[2-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-2-methoxyiminoacetamido]-2-oxoazetidine-1-sulfonate.
