Reaction Steps
The process of Example 8 was repeated except that after addition of triethylamine to the syn isomer of 2-(2-amino-4-thiazolyl)-2-methoxyimino-acetic acid, the mixture was cooled at 0° C. and the tosyl chloride in dimethylacetamide was added over 15 to 20 minutes. The reaction with 7-amino-cephalosporanic acid took place over 30 minutes.
