Procedure
A mixture of the product of Example 11B (30.2 mg, 0.13 mmol), pyridine (0.14 mL, 0.17 mmol), and 2-(thiophen-3-yl)acetyl chloride (24.0 mg, 0.15 mmol) in dichloromethane (0.4 mL) was stirred for 3 hours, concentrated, and chromatographed (20% acetone/hexanes) to give the title compound (33.8 mg) as a white solid. 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ ppm 11.82-11.94 (m, 1H), 8.44 (dd, J=7.9, 1.5 Hz, 1H), 8.11-8.17 (m, 1H), 8.00-8.09 (m, 2H), 7.36-7.58 (m, 2H), 7.14 (dd, J=4.9, 1.3 Hz, 1H), 3.74 (s, 2H); MS (ESI−) M/Z 352 (M−H)−.
