3.3 g (3.8 mmol) of 3-(1-{3-[5-(1-methylpiperidin-4-ylmethoxy)pyrimidin-2-yl]benzyl}-6-oxo-1,6-dihydropyridazin-3-yl)benzonitrile (“C27a”) are dissolved in 10 ml of formic acid and 2.8 g of tert-butanol and stirred at 90° C. for 16 h. The reaction mixture is diluted with dichloromethane, washed with 2×50 ml of water, dried and evaporated. The residue is recrystallised from isopropanol. ESI: 567 (M+H);
