3-[(4-Fluorophenoxy)phenyl]-4-(4-fluorophenyl)-4,5-dihydropyrazole (3 g; 8.6 mmol) was dissolved in dichloromethane (25 ml) and treated with 4-fluorophenyl isocyanate (1.04 g; 7.6 mmol), with stirring at room temperature. After an hour, the reaction mixture was filtered through silica gel, the filtrate was concentrated and treated with diisopropyl ether (50 ml). The precipitated crystals were separated and dried in vacuo (100 Torr).
