Procedure

The product obtained in Step 3 (6 g) was added to a solution of 8.1 g sodium hydrosulfide in 100ml of water all at once with stirring under a nitrogen at room temperature. The mixture was heated at 60° C. for four hours with stirring and cooled to room temperature. The resultant yellow solution was washed twice with 100 ml of ethyl acetate. The pH of the aqueous layer was lowered to 1.0 with concentrated hydrochloric acid for crystallization. The crystals were collected by filtration and washed with 20 ml of water; 3.2 g of the objective compound was obtained as yellow crystals.
