2-(6-Bromo-2-naphthyl)-4,4-dimethyl-4,5-dihydro-1,3-oxazole (1.0 g) and 2-methyl-1-(1-trityl-1H-imidazol-4-yl)-1-propanol (835 mg) were used as the starting materials. By the same procedure described in Reference example 1, the titled compound (1.25 g) was obtained as a colorless amorphous powder.
