Following the procedure of Example 10, but using 1-(p-chlorobenzyl)-1-(4-fluorophenyl)hydrazine hydrochloride and methyl-5-methylthio-4-oxopentanoate as starting materials and t-butanol as the solvent, the title compound was prepared. 1H NMR (250 MHz, CDCl3) δ 2.29 (s, 3H), 2.58 (broad t, 2H, J-7.8 Hz), 3.23 (broad t, 2H, J =7.8 Hz), 5.37 (s, 2H), 6.87 (d, 2H, J =8.5 Hz), 6.89-6.95 (m, 1H), 7.08 (dd, 1H, J =4.3 and 8.9 Hz), 7.25 (d, 2H, J =8.5 Hz), 7.40 (d,d, 1H, J =2.6 and 9.4 Hz).
