Reaction Steps
A mixture of 600 mg. of 10,11-dihydro-3-(5-tetrazolyl)dibenzo[b,f]thiepin, 25 cc. acetic acid and 5 cc. 30% hydrogen peroxide is stirred for 6 hours. The suspended solid is filtered, washed with acetic acid, then water and dried to yield 575 mg. of pure material, m.p. 278° C. dec.
