A solution of 0.134 g of Cis-2-butyl-6-(1,5,6,10b-tetrahydro-2H-isoxazolo[3,2-a]isoquinolin-2-yl)-3-[[2'-[1-(triphenylmethyl)-1H-tetrazol-5-yl][1,1'-biphenyl]-4-yl]methyl]-4(3H)-quinazolinone in 2.5 ml of methanol and 0.5 ml of tetrahydrofuran is heated at reflux for 18 hours. The volatiles are evaporated in vacuo to a residue which is purified by column chromatography on silica gel by elution with 99:1 chloroform-methanol to give 0.082 g of the desired product as a solid.
