Procedure

Following a procedure similar to that described in Example 1, but using 167 mg of (4R,5S)-2-oxo-4-methyloxazolidine-5-carboxylic acid, 234 mg of N-(2-nitrooxyethyl)amine nitrate and 0.30 ml of diphenylphosphoryl azide, 40 mg of the title compound were obtained as a colorless oil.
