Reaction Steps
Reaction of 3,3-bis-(4-furan-2-yl-phenyl)-prop-2-en-1-ol (460 mg, 1.34 mmol), tributylphosphine (0.50 ml, 2.0 mmol), (2S)-2-ethoxy-3-(4-hydroxy-phenyl)-propionic acid ethyl ester (320 mg, 1.34 mmol) and azodicarboxylic dipiperidide (504 mg, 2.0 mmol) in benzene in an identical manner to example 3 gave the title compound (541 mg, 72%).
