Procedure
6-(1-tert-Butoxycarbonylpyrrolidin-3-yl)-4-(2-chlorophenyl)-5-cyano-4,7-dihydro-2H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridine (706 mg) was added to 4N-HCl dioxane solution (5 mL) at room temperature and the mixture was stirred for 2 hours. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure and the residue was washed by ethanol-ethyl acetate, and the precipitated crystals were collected by filtration to give the title compound (460 mg) as colorless crystals.
