Using the procedure outlined in Example 58, the title compound was prepared from 4-bromo-N-quinolin-7-ylbenzamide (Example 82) (50 mg, 0.153 mmol) and 2-methoxy-phenylboronic acid (25 mg, 0.168 mmol) as a colourless gum. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ (ppm): 8.91 (dd, 1H), 8.17 (d, 1H), 8.14 (m, 3H), 7.98, (d, 2H), 7.86 (d, 1H), 7.70 (d, 2H), 7.36 (m, 3H), 7.30 (d, 1H), 7.07 (t, 1H), 3.85 (s, 3H).
