Using the procedure outlined in Example 56, the title compound was prepared as the corresponding hydrochloride salt from 7-aminoquinoline (D55) (25 mg, 0.17 mmol) and 4-(2,6-dimethyl-3-pyridyl)benzoic acid (D56) (21 mg, 0.09 mmol) as a brown solid. 1H NMR (250 MHz, DMSO) δ (ppm): 9.15 (d, 1H), 9.01 (s, 1H), 8.94 (d, 1H), 8.28 (m, 5H), 7.84 (m, 2H), 7.72 (d, 2H), 2.79 (s, 3H), 2.70 (s, 3H).
