Using the procedure outlined in Example 56, the title compound was prepared from 7-amino-2-methylquinoline (D66) (80 mg, 0.51 mmol) and 4-biphenylcarboxylic acid (149 mg, 0.75 mmol) as an off-white solid. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ (ppm): 8.07 (m, 3H), 8.01 (m, 3H), 7.81 (d, 1H), 7.75 (d, 2H), 7.66 (d, 2H), 7.50 (t, 2H), 7.42 (t, 1H), 7.24 (d, 1H), 2.75 (s, 3H).
