Reaction Steps
Following the procedure of Example 35, the product of Example 33 is reacted with benzyl-(4-methoxybenzenesulfonyl)amine and sodium hydride to provide ethyl 4-[benzyl-(4-methoxybenzenesulfonyl)amino]-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridine-5-carboxylate. m.p. 124°-126° C.
