3-[2-Carboxy-4-(3-fluoro-benzenesulfonyl)-phenyl]-pyrrolidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (75 mg, 0.167 mmol) was dissolved in 3 ml of CH2Cl2. TFA (0.5 ml) was added and the mixture was stirred for 4 hours. The solution was concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was crystallized from MeOH to give 59 mgs (quantitative) of 5-(3-Fluoro-benzenesulfonyl)-2-pyrrolidin-3-yl-benzoic acid as a white powder, MS (M+H)=350.
