The title compound was prepared from the 2-(4-cyano-3-methylphenyl)-3-cyclopentyl-3,3a,4,5-tetrahydro-2H-benzo[g]indazole-7-carboxylic acid prepared in Example 21 using chiral resolution (e.g., Method G (Chiralcel OJ-H 30×250 mm; 50% ethanol/carbon dioxide). First eluting peak: chiral HPLC tR=2.31 minutes (Chiralcel OJ-H 4.6×250 mm; 50% ethanol/carbon dioxide)).
