The product from Example 19A (82 mg, 0.13 mmol) in absolute ethanol (2 mL) was treated with 10% palladium on carbon (25 mg) under a H2 atmosphere (1 atm) for 2 hours at ambient temperature. The mixture was filtered through celite and the solution was concentrated to provide the title compound as a colorless, amorphous solid (64 mg, 91%). 1H NMR (CDCl3) δ 7.00 (d, J=8.5 Hz, 4H), 6.73 (d, J=8.5 Hz, 4H), 4.71 (br s, 1.3H), 4.58 (br s, 0.7H), 3.82-3.71 (m, 2H), 2.82-2.65 (m 4H), 2.59-2.28 (m, 6H), 1.42 (s, 12H), 1.38 (s, 6H), 0.95-0.84 (m, 3H); MS (APCl+) m/z 544 (M+H)+.
