To a solution of N2-[5-(5-amino-1-{[2-(trimethylsilyl)ethoxy]methyl}-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-3-yl)pyridin-3-yl]-N-(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)valinamide 5-1b (50 mg, 0.093 mmol) in DCM (1.5 mL) and pyridine (0.2 mL) was added acetic anhydride (9.23 μL, 0.098 mmol) and the mixture was stirred for 2 h. The reaction was concentrated and the residue 5-2a was carried on without further purification.
