2-tert-Butoxy-2-(1-(4-chlorophenyl)-7-(2-(1-hydroxycyclopentyl)ethyl)-3-methylnaphthalen-2-yl)acetic acid (91) was prepared using the procedure of Example 87 from 2-tert-butoxy-2-(1-(4-chlorophenyl)-7-((1-hydroxycyclopentyl)ethynyl)-3-methylnaphthalen-2-yl)acetic acid. 1H-NMR: 400 MHz, (CD3OD) δ: 7.78 (d, J=8 Hz, 1H), 7.67 (d, J=8 Hz, 1H), 7.58 (s, 1H), 7.51 (m, 2H), 7.29 (m, 2H), 7.07 (s, 1H), 5.05 (s, 1H), 2.70 (m, 2H), 2.62 (s, 3H), 1.75 (m, 4H), 1.61 (m, 6H), 0.94 (s, 9H). HPLC (Kinetex 2.6u, 50×4.6 mm, 2-100% MeCN/H2O+0.05% HOAc, 4.0 min run): tR (min)=3.69.
