The aldehyde intermediate from Example 29E (2.35 g, 10.44 mmol) was converted to the alkene by the methods outlined in Example 26E, followed by chromatography (100% hexane) provided the title compound. 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3): δ 1.07-1.19 (m, 2H), 1.60-1.71 (m, 1H), 1.83-1.91 (m, 1H), 4.91-4.97 (m, 1H), 5.05-5.14 (m, 1H), 5.45-5.59 (m, 1H), 6.93 (d, J=9 Hz, 2H), 7.36 (d, J=9 Hz, 2H). MS (DCl—NH3) m/z 241 (M+NH4)+.
