Reaction Steps
15 g (6-chloro-4-piperazin-1-yl-pyridazin-3-yloxy)-ethanol fumarate are suspended in 90 ml hydrobromic acid (48%). The reaction mixture is stirred for 1 hour at reflux temperature and evaporated to dryness. 19 g product are obtained as the hydrobromide. M.p=35° C.
