To a mixture of 115c (600 mg, 1.26 mmol) in methanol (20 mL) was added HCl/dioxane (4M, 4 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 4 h. It was then concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was basified with aqueous 1M NaOH and extracted with dichloromethane (3×30 mL). The combined organic layer was washed with brine and concentrated under reduced pressure to afford 115d (450 mg, 95%) as a yellow solid. MS-ESI: [M+H]+ 378.
