2-(trifluoromethyl)benzoyl chloride 24 (180 mg, 0.88 mmol) was added to a suspension of 2-amino-3-(pyridin-2-ylcarbamoyl)benzoic acid 23 (150 mg, 0.58 mmol) in pyridine (8 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 12 h then poured into ice cooled H2O. The resulting precipitate was collected by filtration, rinsed with H2O, and dried under vacuum to give 25 (90 mg, 38% yield) as a white solid.
