1,1,1-Tris(acetyloxy)-1,1-dihydro-1,2-benziodoxol-3-(1H)-one (476 mg, 1.00 mmol) was added to a solution of the alcohol 10 (312 mg, 0.94 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (3.0 mL) at 23° C. The reaction was stirred for 16 h, filtered through celite and concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified by flash column chromatography (silica gel, 10% EtOAc/hex) afforded 155 mg (50%) of aldehyde 11.
