The title compound was prepared from methyl 1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylate (8.0 g, 0.06 mol) and (S)-1-phenylethanamine (24.7 ml, 0.19 mol) following the experimental procedure described in Preparation 44a. 10.4 g (75% yield) of the desired compound were obtained.
