Reaction Steps

To a suspension of N1-benzyl-N2-((3-(4-isopropoxyphenyl)-1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)methyl)-N1,N2-dimethylethane-1,2-diamine (62 mg, 0.15 mmol) and Pd/C (10 mg) in methanol was purged H2 gas for 2 h. The resulting mixture was filtered through celite and washed with methanol (5 mL×2). The combined filtrate was concentrated to afford N1-((3-(4-isopropoxyphenyl)-1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)methyl)-N1,N2-dimethylethane-1,2-diamine (28 mg, 58%). 1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6): δ 8.12 (s, 1H), 7.48 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 2H), 6.98 (d, J=8.8 Hz, 2H), 4.71-4.61 (m, 1H), 4.44-4.27 (m, 2H), 3.90 (s, 3H), 3.50-3.18 (m, 5H), 3.11-3.04 (m, 1H), 2.65-2.45 (m, 4H) 1.29 (d, J=6 Hz, 6H) ppm. LCMS (method C): RT=1.76 min, m/z=317.3 [M+H]+.
