A mixture of methyl (R)—N-methyl-1-(7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-yl)pyrrolidin-3-amine (0.20 g, 0.92 mmol), 2,4-dichloropyrimidine (0.18 g, 1.21 mmol) and DIPEA (0.25 g, 1.94 mmol) in DMF (6 mL) was stirred at 110° C. for 16 hours. The mixture was poured into water (5 mL) and extracted with ethyl acetate (2×8 mL). The combined extracts was washed with brine (2×30 mL), dried over anhydrous Na2SO4, and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by chromatography on silica gel (v. DCM/MeOH=12/1) to give the title compound. MS (m/z): 330 (M+H)+.
