Following a procedure analogous to that for the synthesis of Intermediate 1A, 5-methyl-N,N-dipropyl-1H-pyrazol-3-amine (400 mg, 2.21 mmol) was converted to the title compound (290 mg, 61%). 1H NMR (CDCl3) δ 3.20-3.16 (m, 4H), 2.18 (s, 3H), 1.55 (sxt, J=7.5 Hz, 4H), 0.88 (t, J=7.4 Hz, 6H); MS(ESI+) m/z 216.1 (M+H)+.
