(S,Z)-3-Amino-1-phenyl-1,4,5,8-tetrahydroazocin-2 (3H)-one (175 mg, 0.692 mmol) was synthesized as described for the preparation of Intermediate 52 using (S)-2-(tert-butoxycarbonylamino)hex-5-enoic acid in step A. Anal. Calcd. for C13H16N2O m/z 216.2. found: 217.0 (M+H)+.
