Using similar reaction conditions as described in step-ii of example-1, tert-butyl 4-(4-(3-iodo-1-tosyl-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-5-yl)phenyl)piperazine-1-carboxylate (intermediate 41) (160 mg, 0.2277 mmol) was coupled with 1-phenethyl-4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole (intermediate 59) (82 mg, 0.2733 mmol) in sodium carbonate (61 mg, 0.5694 mmol), Pd(PPh3)2Cl2 (8 mg, 0.0113 mmol), toluene/ethanol/water (3/2/1 ml) to give 160 mg (100% yield) of the titled compound. MS: m/z=704.1 (M+1).
