Reaction Steps
By using the procedure described in Step-1 of Example-1 above, and by using trans-6-benzyloxy-7-oxo-1,6-diaza-bicyclo[3.2.1]octane-2-carboxylic acid (25 gm, 0.084 mol), N,N-dimethyl formamide (625 ml), EDC hydrochloride (24 gm, 0.126 mol), HOBt (16.96 gm, 0.126 mol), (R)—N-tert-butoxycarbonyl-piperidin-3-carboxylic acid hydrazide (21.40 gm, 0.088 mol) to provide the title compound in 17.0 gm quantity, 41% yield as a white solid.
