A mixture of 2-(4-ethyl-1H-imidazol-1-yl)-9-iodo-7,8-dihydro-[1,4]diazepino[7,1-a]isoquinolin-5(4H)-one (520 mg, 1.20 mmol), tributyl(4,5-dihydrofuran-2-yl)stannane (864 mg, 2.41 mmol) and Pd(PPh3)4 (70 mg, 0.06 mmol) in dioxane (10 mL) was heated to 150° C. for 1.5 h. The mixture was filtered and the filtrate concentrated in vacuo. Purification by flash chromatography (SiO2, DCM to DCM/MeOH 95:5) afforded the title compound (254 mg) as a beige solid. UPLC-MS: MS 375.3 (M+H+); UPLC rt 0.91 min.
