The title compound, m.p.>300° C., was synthesized from 2-chloro-5,11-dihydro-11-ethyl-4-methyl-6H-dipyrido[3,2-b:2',3'-e][1,4]diazepin-6-one and 1-(2-aminoethyl)-2-imidazolidone using procedures analogous to those described above, except that the mixture was heated in a pressure bottle at 250° C. for 30 min., and the product was crystallized from acetic acid.
