Reaction Steps

To a stirred solution of compound 61 (0.25 g, 0.64 mmol) in DCE (3 mL) was added methyl iodide (0.15 mL, 2.55 mmol) and the mixture was stirred at rt for 40 hours in a sealed tube. The reaction mixture was concentrated and the crude material was purified by Combiflash® chromatography eluting with 6-7% methanol-DCM to provide a solid. The solid material was triturated with ether and filtered through a sintered funnel and dried under high vacuum to get the desired compound.
