To a solution of Example 74B (0.79 g, 2.43 mmol) in N,N-dimethylformamide (20 mL) was added sodium hydride (Aldrich, 98 mg, 2.43 mmol) and the reaction mixture was stirred for 15 min and 4-(chloromethyl)-2-methylthiazole (0.36 g, 2.43 mmol) was added. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 18 hr, poured into water (75 mL) and then extracted with EtOAc (75 mL). The organic layer was washed with water (2×75 mL), dried over anhydrous MgSO4, filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure to provide the title compound. MS, DCI, m/z 436 (M+H)+.
