Reaction Steps
Diethylamine (2.1 ml, 0.020 mol) was slowly added to a solution of 3.0 g (0.009 mol) of product of Example 19 in 15 ml of DMF and stirred overnight. Reaction mixture was poured into water, extracted with ether, washed with water, dried (MgSO4) and concentrated. The residue was kugelrohr distilled twice at 28 Pa, pot temperature 76° C., to afford 2.06 g (63.2%) of product as a yellow oil, nD25 1.4593.
