A 0° C. solution, under argon, of 0.20 g of product from Example 152 in 1.5 ml of dry methyl alcohol is treated with 0.25 ml of 4N sodium hydroxide. The reaction is monitored by thin layer chromatography. After 1 hour an additional 0.17 ml of 4N sodium hydroxide is added and the reaction stirred 1 hour. The reaction mixture is quenched with 1.86N hydrochloric acid/isopropyl alcohol, concentrated in vacuo and chromatographed (silica gel: 20-80% ethyl acetate/hexane) to give 0.116 g of the desired product.
