Reaction Steps
2-(4-aminophenylthio)-5-chlorobenzothiazole (5.5 moles, 1.6 g) and 4-chloro-3-trifluoromethylphenylisothiocyanate (5.5 moles, 1.3 g) were reacted according to procedure C to yield the title compound 0.7 g, 24%. Mass Spec (FD 529. Calculated for C21H12C12F3N3S3 : C, 47.55; H, 2.28; N, 7.92. Found: C, 47.55; H, 3.32; N, 7.87.
