Procedure
To a solution (10 mL) of tert-butyl methyl[(5-phenyl-1-{[3-(1H-tetrazol-5-yl)phenyl]sulfonyl}-1H-pyrrol-3-yl)methyl]carbamate (52 mg) in methanol was added 4 mol/L hydrogen chloride-ethyl acetate solution (2 ml), and the mixture was stirred at 65° C. for 1.5 hr and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was crystallized from ethyl acetate to give the title compound as crystals (yield 42 mg, 86%).
