Reaction Steps
To a solution (3 mL) of tert-butyl {[1-(2-chloro-3-pyridinesulfonyl)-5-phenyl-1H-pyrrol-3-yl]methyl}methylcarbamate (70 mg) in ethyl acetate was added 4 mol/L hydrogen chloride-ethyl acetate solution (1 mL), and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 hr. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure, and the residue was crystallized from ethanol-ethyl acetate to give the title compound (yield 29 mg, 49%).
