Procedure

Preparation analogous to Example 1, step a, from 2-aminophenol (7.08 g, 64.93 mmol) and 2-fluoro-6-methoxybenzaldehyde (10 g, 64.93 mmol) gave the title compound (15.9 g, 99%).
