The title compound was prepared from 3-ethynyl-7-trifluoromethyl-5-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine (example C.1) (300 mg, 1.0 mmol) and 3-Bromo-5-methanesulfonyl-pyridine (example B.19) (212 mg, 1.0 mmol) according to general procedure II. Obtained as a yellow solid (350 mg, 68%). MS (ISP) 511.1 [(M+H)+]; mp 241-242° C.
