The title compound was prepared from 8-ethynyl-4-trifluoromethyl-2-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-imidazo[1,5-a]pyrimidine (example C.18) (130 mg, 0.37 mmol) and 5-bromo-thiophene-2-sulfonic acid (2-dimethylamino-ethyl)-amide (example B.49) (115 mg, 0.37 mmol) according to general procedure II. Obtained as a red solid (150 mg, 70%). MS (ISN) 586.0 [(M−H)−]; mp 178° C.
