The title compound was prepared from 8-ethynyl-4-trifluoromethyl-2-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-imidazo[1,5-a]pyrimidine (example Cmax) (178 mg, 0.5 mmol) and commercially available 6-amino-3-bromo-pyridine (86 mg, 0.5 mmol) according to general procedure II. Obtained as a dark red solid (70 mg, 31%). MS (EI) 448.1 [(M+)]; mp 225° C.
