A solution of 1-(4-fluorophenyl)-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-c]pyridine-4-carboxylic acid(2,2-bismethanesulfonylamino-pyridin-4-ylmethyl)-amide (36 mg, 0.069 mmol) in THF (1 mL) was added a 1 M solution of tetra-n-butylammonium fluoride (347 μL, 0.347 mmol) in THF and the mixture was warmed at reflux. After 1 hour, the mixture was quenched with saturated aqueous ammonium chloride (15 mL) and diluted with EtOAc (15 mL). The organic phase was separated and washed with NaHCO3 (10 mL), brine (10 mL), dried over MgSO4, filtered and concentrated. The residue was purified by silica gel chromatography eluting with a gradient of 0-10% methanol in dichloromethane to afford the title compound as a solid.
