Reaction Steps

To 5-hydrazinocarbonyl-6-methyl-2-oxo-1-(3-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-1,2-dihydro-pyridine-3-carboxylic acid 4-methanesulfonyl-benzylamide (0.030 g, 0.057 mmol) in 1,4-dioxane (10 ml) was added ethyl isocyanate (0.016 g, 0.23 mmol) and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1 h. The mixture was evaporated and the residue was purified by preparative HPLC giving 0.015 g (44%) of the title compound.
