Following the procedure as described in Example 24, making variations as required to replace 2-(2-oxoimidazolidin-1-yl)thiazole-5-carboxylate with ethyl 2-(2-oxoimidazolidin-1-yl)-4-(trifluoromethyl)thiazole-5-carboxylate to react with 1-(bromomethyl)-4-fluorobenzene, the title compound was obtained as a colorless solid in 94% yield: 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) δ 7.28-7.25 (m, 2H), 7.06-7.01 (m, 2H), 4.46 (s, 2H), 4.33 (q, J=7.1 Hz, 2H), 4.13-4.07 (m, 2H), 3.50-3.44 (m, 2H), 1.34 (t, J=7.1 Hz, 3H); MS (ES+) m/z 418.1 (M+1).
